Undercover Cassie Cage has a passive that allows her to deal more damage against two types of foes. Coupled with the right talents, equipment and characters, she can level down the forces of Netherrealm and Outworld foes with minimum effort. Jacqui Briggs/Cybernetic is her polar opposite, having a passive that defends against said enemies, in which they are usually paired together although they work better with other characters.
Strategy[]
While Undercover Cassie Cage's passive may seem unimpressive as it only affects a certain class of enemies, it can boost the resulting damage regardless of her attack stat, giving her a slight edge in battle. She can be paired with Sonya Blade/Demolition to increase her attack, resulting in more damage dealt, provided that it is higher than her opponent's toughness. Note that even if the opponent's toughness is higher than her attack and therefore will reduce the incoming damage she deals, her passive will still boost it, essentially countering the reduction.
