Cripple is a status condition that temporarily disables the opponent's specials. A purple cross appears through the opponent's head as a visual. Cripple does not prevent a Silver character’s Special 3 or a Gold or Diamond character’s X-Ray or Fatal Blow attack. The symbol represents a broken bone, resembling "crippled".
