Faction Wars is a game mode that puts you up against players around the world or in your country.
You can put up to 3 cards (Gold, Diamond, Silver, Bronze) And if you put a strong bronze team, the game might balance you out with other Bronze teams or some weak Gold cards.
There's Blood Rubies that can be used to buy exclusive characters/equipment cards and konsumables for Survivor mode in the Faction Wars store. The most expensive things in the store are the exclusive character cards and the cheapest are the konsumables.
Here are the character cards that can be bought. Note that all characters cost 1.6k rubies. (DOING EQUIPMENT LATER)
Character | Passive |
Ermac/Klassic | Opponents start the fight with Soul Siphon DOT, that takes 10% of their health and prevents recovery over 30 seconds (even if Ermac is tagged-out or defeated). Soul Siphon DOT is not affected by any modifiers or resistances. When Ermac is defeated (and is not the last one on his team) he explodes dealing massive damage to an active opponent. |
Scorpion/Klassic | Achieving 80%+ on the Spear (Special Attack 1), makes it unblockable and pulls the most wounded opponent from the enemy team into combat and causes Bleed. |
Sub-Zero/Klassic | Performing Slide Kick (Special Attack 2) at 80%+ activates a continuous chain of Special Attacks. Can be chained up to 6 times, significantly increasing the difficulty of the minigame. |
Tanya/Kobu Jutsu | Thrice per match, Spinning Stab (special attack 2) deals 25% of its damage to the entire enemy team and breaks shields. In Faction Wars, 25% chance for Lethal Blow. |
There are 2 modes: Quick Battle and Survivor.
Quick Battle: The mode lets you play 1, 3, 5 or 7 battles against a random player from your faction. The higher the battles, the better the reward. Winning gives you Koins and points, depending on how powerful your team is. (eg. Fighting with Fusion 5 Gold cards may give you 2000-3000 points)
Modifiers are present, but only one. Fusion Boost is the only modifier in Faction Wars (only to Quick battle) where the lowest fused character in your team is temporarily boosted to the second-highest fused character in your team. This feature makes it extremely easy to win battles, but wouldn't be particularly useful for grinding points.
Survivor: Survivor is a unique mode where your fighter's previous health carries over to the next. (eg. Your fighter has 5000 health left. The next fight will give said character 5k health.) There are 5 ladders in Survivor, with each ladder giving more points.
Difficulty | Requirement | Reward Pts. | Notes |
Easy Tower | Silver and Bronze Characters only. | 1,000 - 5,000 | 5 Battles. |
Normal Tower | Gold and Silver characters only. | 2,500 - 16,000 | 7 Battles. |
Hard Tower | Diamond and Fusion 1 and above Gold Characters only. | 4,000 - 24,000 | 9 Battles. Diamonds can be used at any fusion in this ladder. |
Fatal Tower | Diamond and Fusion 5 and above Gold Characters only. | 7,500 - 35,000 | 12 Battles. Diamonds can be used at any fusion in this ladder. |
Elder Tower | Diamond Characters only. | 9,000 - 58,000 | 15 Battles. |
Featured characters are given a multiplier to your earned points. (eg. Diamond Cassie Cage gives x5 points for every win (as of now), so when you defeat an enemy in Survivor, and the reward is 10,000, this is multiplied by how big the multiplier is, with x10 being the max multiplier) Survivor is heavily recommended for point grinding, but you will need some recovery and massive regeneration, as enemies get increasingly difficult each time you win.
SURVIVOR CHARACTER & CLASS BONUS (June 5-8): Spec Ops (x1.6) Cassie Cage (Gold; x3 | Diamond; x5
As of 7/8/2021, Quick Battle has a new modifier named ''Fusion Boost''.
