Strategy[]

Balanced Kenshi is almost true to his name, as he provides a bar of power to himself and other Spec Ops teammates, giving them a tactical advantage on the battlefield. Furthermore, his "Tele-Push" can drain enemy power, leaving the opponents at a disadvantage when it comes to power as he could use it immediately if he wants to. His passive can help other Spec Ops teammates reach their SP2s or X-Ray attacks earlier or just deal more damage at the start of the match.

Please note that battles are highly situational: this section only mentions cards that have mechanics that, for any reason, are particularly effective with/against, or particularly ineffective against Kenshi. Having a card that "counters" Kenshi does not mean it is always a good choice.

  • Cassie Cage/Strike Force: Cassie can immediately tag in and drain the entire enemy team of their power, nullifying Kenshi's passive.
  • Raiden/Dark and Liu Kang/Klassic: Both characters are immune to Kenshi’s Power Drain, Liu Kang unaffected and Raiden gaining power.
  • Raiden/MK11: Raiden and his MK11 teammates are immune to Kenshi's Power Drain.
