His real name is Bi-Han, and he is the older brother of Sub-Zero. He was the original Sub-Zero and later killed by Scorpion before becoming Noob Saibot.
The name Noob Saibot comes from the last names of the creators of the Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon and John Tobias, spelled backwards.
