- Scorpion/Ninjutsu & Sub-Zero/Cryomancer: Gains 30% Health from Sub-Zero and 30% Attack from Scorpion.
- Kung Jin/Shaolin, Scorpion/Hellspawn, Wrath Hammer & Bloody Tomahawk: Sub-Zero gains a bar of power for each support.
- Quan Chi/Warlock & Scorpion/Strike Force: They both give Sub-Zero an extra chance to survive after he uses his Ice Decoy.

- X-Rays and Fatal Blows: Sub-Zero can receive massive damage and can still respawn with his Ice Decoy.

- Shao Kahn/Konqueror: When Sub-Zero's health is low, his resurrection will not save him from Shao Kahn's Brutality.
- Shinnok/Bone Shaper & Ermac/Pharaoh: They both gain extra attack and critical chance after Sub-Zero activates his Ice Decoy.
- Johnny Cage/Strike Force: Johnny Cage gains Bars of Power when Sub-Zero uses his Ice Decoy.
- Kitana/Day of the Dead: Kitana and her Outworld teammates could regenerate when Sub-Zero’s Ice Decoy activates, making the battle for Sub-Zero last even longer.
