Good With[]

  • Ronin Characters: If fully teamed up, Ronin characters gain 30-60% critical hit chance, 30-90% critical damage, and Takeda having damage increase to Spec Ops characters.
  • Cassie Cage/Covert Ops: Takeda gains unblockable attack chance from Cassie.
  • Kenshi/Balanced: Takeda can start match with a bar of power if teamed up with Kenshi.
  • Johnny Cage/A-List & Sonya Blade/Demolition: Takeda gains 30% Attack from Sonya and 30% Health from Johnny Cage.
  • Triborg/Cyrax (LK-4D4): Takeda receive critical attack damage increase from Cyrax.
  • Curse debuff: Takeda deals more critical damage to cursed opponents (Reaper's End and Soul Reaver's Servant equipments recommended).
  • Critical hit chance increasing equipments: Bo' Rai Cho's Flask, Bojutsu Staff, Freddy's Glove, Razor Sai, Revolvers (FX), Shao Kahn's Helmet, Shaolin Bow, Shirai Ryu Kunai, Meat's Cleaver & Wrath Hammer (FX).

  • Strike Force Characters: Ronin characters receive 10% more damage from them.
  • Erron Black/Gunslinger, Takeda/Ronin (himself) & Executioner Axe: These characters and equipments deal more damage against Spec Ops, which include Takeda.
  • Jacqui Briggs/Kosplay: Jacqui's Scorpion variation drains more power from Fire DOT against Spec Ops.
  • Kenshi/Elder GodKitana/Assassin & Scorpion/Hellspawn: All of these characters are immune to the Critical attacks with Elder God Kenshi spreading this immunity to Elder God teammates.
  • Respirator equipment: This equipment reduces damages from critical attacks.
  • Critical hit chance reduction equipments: Body Armor (FX), Military Vest (FX), Ice Gloves (FX), Bloody Shokan Armor (FX), Drahmin's Mask, Sindel's Signet Ring and Sapphire Dagger.
