Please note that battles are highly situational: this section only mentions cards that have mechanics that, for any reason, are particularly effective with/against, or particularly ineffective against Terminator. Having a card that "counters" Terminator does not mean it is always a good choice.

Good Against[]

  • Krushing Blows, X-Rays and Fatal Blows: Terminator cancels all of these moves used against him. Those characters most effected are:
    • Ermac/Master of Souls: Ermac's X-Ray is rendered useless against Terminator, limiting his effectiveness with a full Outworld Team.
    • Kabal/MK11 & Kabal/Black Dragon: Whenever either teammates with either Kabal get knocked out, their free Fatal Blows are rendered useless. Also, their Krushing Blows are rendered useless against Terminator.
    • Raiden/MK11: Raiden's Krushing Blow combo enders are rendered useless if they are performed on Terminator.
    • Jade/MK11 & Sub-Zero/MK11: Their Krushing Blows on Special 2 are rendered useless against Terminator, preventing their additional Stun effects.
    • DOTs: While in Endoskeleton Mode, the basic DOTs cannot effect Terminator.

  • Shao Kahn/Konqueror: If Terminator's Health is low enough, Shao Kahn's Special 2 will destroy him.
  • Kano/Commando: Kano is immune to Terminator's Blind on Special 2 and Fatal Blow.
  • Erron Black/Gunslinger, Takeda/Ronin & Executioner Axe: These characters and equipment deal more damage against Spec Ops, which is Terminator’s class.
  • Jade/MK11 & Jade/Assassin: In Endoskeleton Mode, Terminator can only use basic attacks and combo enders. These Jade characters will leave Terminator vulnerable as MK11 Jade can evade basic attacks and Assassin Jade can evade combo enders.
  • Noob Saibot/MK11, Noob Saibot/Klassic and Deathmark debuff: Deathmark can prevent Terminator to go into Endoskeleton.

[Fusion Level X] Any positive kombat effect on the wearer excluding Regeneration lasts 30% longer.

[Terminator] On opponent's tag-out, there is 40-50% chance that the opponent will be stopped from leaving by a grenade dealing formidable damage and applying Stun for 3sec.
