Patch 1.18 is a major update that changes some things and adds new content.

Update Changes[]
- All characters' maximum Fusion and Level increased to 10 and 60 respectively.
- Saurian's SP1 animation has been changed.
- Cassie Cage/Punk has received numerous changes:
- Her tag-in attack has a quicker recovery speed.
- Her combo enders no longer have a camera angle and can be activated just after the last basic hit as opposed to a short delay beforehand.
- Her SP2 animation has been drastically changed and is no longer unblockable. In addition, the mini-game for her SP2 is also changed.
- Shirai Ryu's SP2 mini-game has been fixed.
- The bug where Scorpion gains power during his Spear special attack has been fixed.
- The description of some passives has been changed, mostly to add clarity to its meaning.
- For Shao Kahn/Konqueror's case, it has been nerfed to no longer work on bosses.
- The UI of Quest Mode has been changed.
- Players can now fuse characters up to Fusion X and reach Level 60, but only if they are at Fusion X beforehand.
- Some words that begin with 'C' may have the letter 'K' instead, spelling out words like 'Kontinue'.
- Bo' Rai Cho/Dragon Breath's SP1 is no longer stated to inflict fire. This could be due to an error that despite it's description, it was never intended to deal fire in the first place. It could also be erroneously added due to its animation where Bo' Rai Cho breathes fire onto his opponent.
- There seems to be a bug where players may receive a character card from the Blood Ruby Kard Pack despite the pack not actually opening. After which, the game will crash.
- When Reptile uses his SP1, "Acid Puke" onto the enemy, his jaws will now open wide instead of remaining the closed throughout the entire battle.
- The Monk now gains a combo ender on his second combo, essentially having 2 combo enders.
- Erron Black/Bounty Hunter's passive is now taken into consideration for certain quests.
